Two days in Appleton, WI.

Day 1:

Arrival + Welcome Reception Dinner

Day 2:

8:00 AM: Arrival at Appvion HQ

8:30–10:30 AM: Class/Presentations

10:30–11:30 AM: Facility Tour

11:30–1:00 PM: Lunch, Team Activity & Wrap Up

Thermal School is designed for professionals across the direct thermal industry – from new team members building foundational knowledge to experienced professionals looking to deepen their technical expertise and product understanding.

A complete view of direct thermal technology, including:

Plus, you’ll see it all in action during a live plant tour.

There’s no event fee.

We provide dinner on Day 1 and breakfast and lunch on Day 2.

Attendees cover their own flights, hotel, and transportation.

  • We recommend renting a vehicle, as Uber/Lyft availability in Appleton is limited
  • We also offer discounted rates at two downtown hotels, with details shared upon registration

Unfortunately, no. Thermal School is intentionally in-person to deliver the full experience – including hands-on learning and a behind-the-scenes plant tour.

You’ll see our direct thermal manufacturing process firsthand.
All PPE is provided. We recommend closed-toe shoes and avoiding loose clothing or excessive jewelry.
